Futurama.co.za, a leading retailer of cutting-edge products relating to hydroponics, including brands such as: Advanced Nutrients, FOHSE, Gorilla Grow Tents and Pulse. The person in mind should be an honest, young, hard-working individual looking to learn and grow in the retail industry. They should be representable and neat as this is a customer-facing position. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through our retail store, merchandising stock and providing exceptional customer service.

This position will be based at our grow shop in the Meltz Centre next to The Hub

Responsibilities

:

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Manage the store's product merchandising, pricing, promotions, and inventory. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Stay up-to-date on retail trends and best practices, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation. Stock takes done on a regular basis. Keeping the store neat and tidy at all times.

Requirements

:

1 year sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Exereience growing cannabis indoors or outdoors Experience in physical retail environment. Matric. Ability to speak English and Afrikaans. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for technology and innovation.

It is a full-time position working 6 days a week including weekends.

Hours

:

Monday - Friday 09:00 to 18:00 Saturdays - 09:00 - 16:00 Sundays and Public Holidays - 09:00 to 14:00

Salary

:

Basic salary and uncapped commission.
