Position Overview:

Location:

Our retail store is conveniently located at shop 231 inside of the Somerset Mall in Somerset West, Western Cape.

Objective:

To enhance sales performance, manage product merchandising effectively, and deliver outstanding customer service, contributing to the overall growth and success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to boost revenue. Oversee product merchandising, pricing, promotional activities, and inventory management. Offer superior customer service by addressing queries, solving problems, and providing exceptional advise. All in the pursuit of customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee a cohesive customer journey. Stay abreast of retail trends and best practices to identify growth opportunities and foster innovation. Take part in the annual stock take. Maintain a clean and organized store environment always.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 year of retail sales experience, with a successful track record of meeting sales objectives. Experience in any of the key categories that we specialise in. Background in a physical retail setting. Matric certificate required/tertiary degree advantageous. Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. A keen interest in all things outdoors - from camping to hunting.

This position requires full-time commitment, with hours spanning Monday to Saturday (9:00 AM to 7:00 PM), Sundays and public holidays (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Starting salary will be between R8,000.00 and R10,000 per month depending on experience, with the potential for additional earnings through uncapped commission.

Location Requirements:

Candidates must be able to commute to Somerset West reliably, or be willing to relocate before commencement of their contract.
