Key Responsibilities:General Manager all GP StoresRequired to work between all storesRepairs and Maintenance of Storesxc2xb7 HRo Interviewing candidates for potential store employeeso Signing of Contracts with new staff memberso Issuing of Warningso Resolving Issues with Managers and staffo Commission Calculationso Arranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing rangeso Implementing new system to make things run more smoothlyxc2xb7 MARKETINGo Building up of a client database within the storesxc2xa7 For contacting on promotionsxc2xa7 For back orders for stock still to arriveo Liaising with Marketing department to for the followingxc2xa7 Attending of events to sell products and market the brandsxc2xa7 Create a schedule of events to be attended throughout the yearxc2xa7 Coordinate marketing in store with online and social media marketingxc2xb7 OPERATIONSo Ensure all staff know the company procedures and policeso Co-ordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses etc.o Monitor all communications groups between staff and ensure all comply with the company policeso Ensuring all store managers report a monthly check list for any issues in store that need to be fixed or replaced and ensure the list is attended to within the month or report to management if there is a delayo Ensure all contractors used in store comply with the companies wishes and ensure they do what is requiredo Oversee all contractors billing and ensure everything paid for is done and working and contractors are held accountable for any issues on their workxc2xb7 STOCKo Ensure managers are made accountable for stock takes or cycles counts done in storeo Ensure managers are made accountable for stock requisitions and IBTxe2x80x99s sent and received from storeso Ensure managers are made accountable for all items being priced accurately against the system within the stores and that they confirm pricing is loaded on the systemo Ensure full accountability of stock takes or cycles counts of who is performing the counts of what sectiono Ensure a monthly stock take is performed in all locationso Ensure that daily cycle counts are done on smaller sections each dayo Stock aging report needs to be sent out monthlyo Stock fulfilment reports need to be done monthly on categories or items that are going to be out of stocko Random spot checks in store to be done to audit actual counts preformed on store weeklyxc2xb7 SALESo Set financial year budgets which is linked to budgets per store and per sales member.o Monitor Sales Teamxe2x80x99s targets and help staff members to the best of your ability reach their targetso Report back any reason why sales team canxe2x80x99t meet their targets to managemento Training of Staff in Products/Selling/Processeso Handled or ensure all Customer Queries/Stock Requests/Complaints are handled in a timely mannero Authorising of discounts in store when discounts other than the system discounts are used.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Pastel Evolution xe2x80x9cmustxe2x80x9dxc2xb7 Excel xe2x80x9cmustxe2x80x9dxc2xb7 Ability to work in a high-pressure environmentxc2xb7 Ability to work retail hoursxc2xb7 Fluent in English and Afrikaansxc2xb7 Knowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brandsxc2xb7 Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License
