Looking to work directly with the developer ?Join a prestigious privately owned development company renowned for its extensive experience in retail property development, particularly in underserved and emerging markets. With a footprint across Southern Africa, our client has successfully delivered numerous retail centers. Currently expanding with multiple new developments, they seek a Retail Tenant Coordinator to support a dynamic team of four developers at their Pretoria based office.The ideal candidate would possess a blend of skills, experience, and personal attributes to effectively manage tenant relations and ensure the smooth operation of retail properties. With a minimum of 3-5 years in property management, retail operations, or a related field, you will take charge of cultivating strong tenant relationships and ensuring seamless retail property operations. Your role will encompass overseeing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms, and managing lease renewals, amendments, and terminations with finesse. You'll orchestrate the tenant fit-out process, ensuring adherence to design standards, liaising with contractors, and ensuring timely project completion. Due to the nature of the role, extensive travel is required, often involving nights away from home. You must be comfortable with frequent travel, including to lower LSM areas in South Africa.If you have prior experience in tenant coordination or lease administration within the retail sector, along with a bachelor's degree in real estate, property management, or relevant certifications, we encourage you to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with tenants, contractors, and property management teams. Strong organizational abilities are required to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail ensuring accuracy in lease administration and tenant fit-out coordination. You should possess the capability to identify and resolve tenant issues efficiently. A basic understanding of financial principles related to property management and proficiency in property management software are advantageous.
