This critical role reports directly to the Head of Property, requiring the ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with extensive travel throughout Gauteng and the Inland Regions.As a seasoned professional in retail property development and site acquisition, you will utilise your extensive network within the developer community to facilitate strategic negotiations and expedite site selection processes. Mastery of demographic analysis, market research, and property development is paramount, supported by exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Your responsibilities will include evaluating potential retail locations aligned with strategic objectives, conducting rigorous due diligence on prospective sites, and nurturing strong relationships with developers, landlords, and stakeholders. You will also conduct demographic and market studies to drive expansion strategies, ensuring adherence to property laws and regulations through meticulous review and collaboration with legal experts. Additionally, you will optimise the company's property portfolio by overseeing leases, expansions, and disposals to enhance value and minimise risk.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Property, Finance, Business, or a related field, with at least 8 years' experience in a similar capacity. Proficiency in demographic analysis, market research, and property law is essential, alongside robust negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
