Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking experienced Riggers to join a leading mining company in the North-West. As a Rigger in the mining industry, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy machinery and equipment.Responsibilities:
- Inspect and prepare rigging equipment before lifting and moving operations
- Signal and communicate with crane operators during lifting operations
- Ensure that all lifting operations comply with safety regulations and industry best practices
- Perform rigging calculations and determine the appropriate rigging techniques to use for each lifting operation
- Coordinate and plan rigging activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of rigging activities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of rigging equipment
- Provide training and guidance to junior riggers as required
- Grade 12
- Rigger Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years' experience as a Rigger in the mining industry.
- Valid license for a 30-ton crane
- In-depth knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
