Job Description
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal, statutory and regulatory requirements rela9ng to the business including,
promotion of Access to Informa9on Act (PAIA). * Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance activities and prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Audits and Reviews: Coordinate and support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance-related incidents and breaches, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
- FICA: Oversee, implement and maintain RMCP compliance and act as compliance officer.
- Run ad hoc compliance checks and audits across all business units.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage
- Data Protection: Oversee data protection efforts and access to information in line with PoPI and PAIA, ensuring the safeguarding of personal and sensitive information
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BCOM LLB degree
- Admitted Attorney
- Min 2 years Post Admission experience in a compliance role.
- Comprehensive and expert knowledge on FICA and NCA legislation and practical
- Implementation of RMCP
