REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal, statutory and regulatory requirements rela9ng to the business including,
but not limited to, the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), Na9onal Credit Act (NCA), Protec9on of Personal Informa9on Act (PoPI) and the promotion of Access to Informa9on Act (PAIA). * Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance activities and prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
Audits and Reviews: Coordinate and support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance-related incidents and breaches, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
FICA: Oversee, implement and maintain RMCP compliance and act as compliance officer.
Run ad hoc compliance checks and audits across all business units.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage
Data Protection: Oversee data protection efforts and access to information in line with PoPI and PAIA, ensuring the safeguarding of personal and sensitive information
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BCOM LLB degree
Admitted Attorney
Min 2 years Post Admission experience in a compliance role.
Comprehensive and expert knowledge on FICA and NCA legislation and practical
Implementation of RMCP
