Who we are looking forThe world of Risk and Regulation is changing, join us on the journey and be part of creating relevant Risk and Compliance functions across a variety of industries. Risk Services (Risk and Regulation) is looking to expand its business and are looking for candidates at the manager level who have gained 3 - 5 years experience consulting.Main Purpose:To manage the day-to-day delivery of Risk Services teams in delivering risk management and regulatory change related engagements including:Business development;Problem definition;Effort estimation;Diagnosis;Solution generation, design and deployment;Engagement/project management;Staff management and coaching.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include managing the delivery teams of a range of risk management and regulatory change related advisory engagements.Driving the development of new propositions and contributing towards the development of the broader staff compliment in terms of risk management skills.Identifying the impact of financial services regulatory change and supporting clients to adapt to the challenges the new regulatory landscape presents.Overseeing technical analysis and developing an area of specialism as the 'subject matter expert'.Identifying and documenting key systems and controls for demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations.Preparing regulatory analysis and reports.Supporting senior team members through the development of marketing and sales activities and continuous client contact programmes with senior client staff.Relationship building and networking with clients and internally across PwC.Providing input to the debate on development and application of regulatory changes and leading practice developments.Participating in PwCs Thought Leadership development.QualificationsUndergraduate degree (but preferably Honours/Masters degree) in one of the following:FinanceEconomicsRisk ManagementCommercial LawEngineeringManagement/Business StudiesRelevant professional qualifications such as CFA and FRM would be an advantage.CompetenciesMotivated individuals who are passionate about risk management and financial services regulation (risk, compliance, operational resilience and conduct).The range of technical skills our clients are looking for is broad.
