A role is available for a Risk & Compliance Specialist to identify, assess and mitigate risks that impact the business. Experience in FMCG with fair practise in legislation in the food industry is a requirement to be eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop policies & Procedures to improve Legislative Compliance Develop & Implement Risk and Compliance Frameworks Identify, assess & Mitigate risk to business Internal Audits & Investigations Risk Assessment & Reporting Lead the development and implementation of business continuity plans Promote a culture of compliance through training and awareness programs Develop and track the combined assurance plan
Knowlege and experience of the following legislation is a bonus
Health & Safety
Environmental
POPIA
Labour Law
Competition Act
JSE Regulations
Required Qualifications:
Fair Practise in risk management and compliance or a legal environment. Bachelor's degree in law or similar Professional certification in risk management or compliance is preferred. In-depth understanding of compliance and risk management, internal audits, and enterprise risk management frameworks. Ability to interpret and apply legislation to real-world business scenarios.
