As an RM Placement Specialist, you will be responsible for handling high complexity accounts. Your expertise will be crucial as you will be handling challenging renewals, ensuring optimal outcomes for both clients and the organization.We will rely on you to:Placement Broking on high complexity accountsParticipate in internal and client renewal strategy meetingsNegotiate terms with local insurers and wholesale brokersAnalyze and make recommendations on terms and quotesLead renewal meetings with local insurersDevelop relationships with insurers at a mid-management levelProvide advisory support to the Client ExecutiveAttend ad hoc client meetings, when requestedWhat you need to have:Minimum 3 years experience in similar role with brokingMin - NQF level 4 completedFAIS CompliantProperty, Casualty & PTS knowledge and experienceExcellent negotiating skillsConversant with the coverage provided by all classes of insurance handled within PlacementGeneral knowledge of specialist classes of insuranceAbility to broker high complexity accounts in the local insurance marketAbility to implement the placement strategy on high complexity accountsAbility to identify suitable insurance markets for specific risksBasic knowledge of risk financing techniques, risk management principles, and reinsurance mechanicsYou will stand out ifYou have the London (UK) market knowledge & experienceObtained or commenced studies towards Higher Certificate in Insurance / IISA Introductory Programme in Short Term Insurance / IISA Programme in Short Term Insurance or NQF level 5Marsh McLennan is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment.
