Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company in Gauteng is currently looking for a Risk Manager. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective risk management systems and processes within the mining operations.Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential risks and develop risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management systems and processes.
  • Implement and maintain risk mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to the operational teams on risk management matters.
  • Prepare and present reports on risk management performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve risk management practices.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Related.
  • Mine Managers' Certificate.
  • Diploma in Risk Management and/or related.
  • Advanced MEC certificate.
  • 10 years' experience as a Risk Manager/Related Field within the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and associated risks.
  • Valid Driver's License
