A company in North West (Brits area) is looking for an experienced Risk and Inboarding Specialist in their Purchasing Department.
Develop, evaluate and implement strategic supplier risk management
strategies, processes and systems for the region according to global
guidelines
- Identify and evaluate risks along regional sourcing activities
- Analyse and evaluate supplier data, e.g. balance sheet, Profit & Loss,
shareholdings, etc.
- Conduct risk-assessments of local and regional suppliers
- Reporting and Documentation
- Strong collaboration with Regional Sourcing Co-ordinator according to
central SSRS rules and regulations
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years plus experience in a purchasing and/or supplier Environment
- 3-5 years experience in supplier risk management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- An enterprising person, i.e. Go-getter
- Willing to travel as may be required with own transport!
- Customer orientated & team-minded to work in an international team
- Strategic and organizational thinker
- Attention to detail!
- Distinctive self-confidence & assertiveness
- Competent and cultivated corporate appearance
- Anticipatory thinking and working
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Purchasing and systems experience a definite advantage
- Work of a general nature as and when required
