Road Logistics Sales Representative | South Africa | ZA2087248We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to drive growth and expand our market presence in Johannesburg, South Africa. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of road logistics and a proven track record in developing strategic business relationships.YOUR ROLEYou will develop the Road Logistics business by engaging with both existing and new customers to meet and exceed the targets set by the Road Logistics Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth within the SME customer segment, focusing on key target trades as outlined by the National Road Logistics Management guidelines. You will be directly responsible for increasing Kuehne & Nagel's market share across core Road Logistics products and contributing positively to the gross profit of the Road Logistics unit.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hunting and winning new Road Logistics Export and Import Business;
• Further development and retention of existing customer base;
• Develop expert market knowledge on key focus lanes into Africa;
• Build relationship with overseas route development managers to support Air/Sea to Road Business;
• Meet and exceed targets as predefined in Incentive Scheme;
• Ensure constantly building a quality pipeline in SME sector to maximize opportunity and win ratio.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor's degree preferred;
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in Road Logistics;
• Cross Border transport knowledge;
• Strong customer focus and good communications skills;
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations;
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural team environment;
• Commercial acumen and ability to perform under pressure.
