Job Description


The Rock Engineer will be responsible for providing specialised integrated geotechnical expertise to the mine, managing geotechnical investigations and ensuring structural stability of residue deposits, waste dumps and stockpilesMinimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Rock Engineering / Geology / Mining
  • Certificate in Rock Mechanics (Rock Engineering)
  • Total of 8 years strata control / rock engineering experience including a min of 3 years experience in middle management
