Route Controller - Cape TownFull job descriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Route Controller to join our logistics team. The Route Controller will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing transportation routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services to our customers. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-centric approach.RequirementsGrade 12+1 year related experienceMicrosoft office experience.Computer Skills.Flexibility (assist in the warehouse).Good communication skills (Communicating with drivers and clients effectively and our call center staff).Attention to detail.Basic Analytic skills.Problem Solving (problem Freight to Be Assessed and sent out in accordance).Need to be able to work under pressure.Must be willing to learn and undertake on any task assigned by Manager.Tracking Capabilities.ResponsibilitiesWork alongside drivers ensuring deliveries are up to standardException management and escalationCommunication with drivers and different departmentMonitoring of owner driver parcelsTrending & analysisIF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FEEDBACK FROM US IN 2 WEEKS, PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR APPLICATION AS UNSUCCESSFUL.Job Type: Full-timePay: R5 000,00 - R7 500,00 per monthEducation:High School (matric) (Preferred)Experience:route controller: 1 year (Preferred)Application Deadline: 2024/10/31Expected Start Date: 2024/11/01
