Responsible for technical integrity of Meadow Feeds products and quality of nutritional solutions to customers.Meadow Feeds is More than Just Feed!We have been supplying safe, high-quality feed to southern African livestock producers for the past 80 years, using our unrivalled experience and expertise in this field to earn the trust of generations of farmers who bring wholesome meat, milk, and eggs to your table. We also supply a full range of technical services to our customers, including advice on nutrition, feeding programmes, animal husbandry, and production techniques.Our commitment to optimal animal nutrition has made us the largest feed company in Africa and the leading supplier of innovative, high-performance feed solutions.The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following key duties:

• Customer liaison (on farm visits) and management support.
• Supporting role to the technical and sales service functions, including training.
• Ensuring technical integrity and suitability of the companys products.
• Implementation of nutritional optimisation strategies to the field.
• Maximizing margin improvement through formulation.
• Keeping abreast of the latest nutritional developments and technology.
• Sales and marketing of products
• Research and development of product
• Cooperation with divisional technical manager to obtain and implement the latest technical advancements.
• Supporting the divisional technical manager in setting the technical direction of the feed division, ensuring implementation at regional level.
• Commitment and compliance to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, 20 Keys, Astral Code of Ethics and any other company management systems.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• BSc of Science in Agriculture, preferably a MSc Animal nutrition as well..
• 4 years experience in a similar position.
• Extensive knowledge of the animal feed industry.
• Registered as a Professional Animal Scientist with SACNASP.
• The successful candidate will have a good understanding of business principles.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and work ethic.
• Be computer literate in MS Office products at advanced level.
• Proficiency in formulation software; AMTS, MAX, FORMAT, CNCPS models.
• Have full command of the English and Afrikaans languages.
