Job Summary Candidate requirements:UPDATE: Experience working with TourPlan is essential!
- Tertiary education in Tourism/Travel is essential.
- Must have a passion for conservation, the safari industry, and travel.
- Previous experience in reservations and the travel industry is essential.
- A minimum of two years experience in a safari supporting role is essential.
- Experience working in a safari lodge is advantageous.
- Working experience using WETU, Tourplan or Hubspot is beneficial.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Personal travel experience in southern Africa is ideal.
- Truly supporting safari consultants and finance team in planning, selling, booking, and managing experience-rich, responsible safaris.
- Liaising with suppliers and properties, booking client flights etc.
- Liaising directly with travel clients to arrange invoicing, travel documentation, and booking extras such as restaurant reservations and added tours.
- Assisting our product manager in creating new travel packages and marketing content.
