This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has worked on large-scale construction projects, including building and commercial developments, and has a solid grasp of health and safety regulations and standards.If you're passionate about creating safe, compliant worksites and want to be part of a company that delivers top-tier projectsapply today and take the next step in your safety career!Requirements:xc2xb7 Relevant OHS Certifications e.g. Fall Protection Plan developer, Risk Assessor, Incident Investigator will be advantageous.xc2xb7 A minimum of 8 years experience as a Safety Officer on large-scale building projects is required.xc2xb7 Candidates must be registered with SACPCMP as either a Construction Health and Safety Officer (CHSO) or Manager (CHSM).Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with Company safety regulations and adherence to safety standards, including safety induction and training with Contractors.xc2xb7 Assess safety files of contractors in accordance with OHS Act and relevant Regulations.xc2xb7 Assist contractors in submitting their SHE files and getting them approved.xc2xb7 Keep Management up to date and informed about legislative requirements regarding health and safety requirements.xc2xb7 Review and update Emergency Procedures, Health and Safety Plans, Risk assessments and fall protection Plans when necessary.xc2xb7 Conduct weekly site Inspections by identifying and minimizing the risk to company and employees.xc2xb7 Identify unsafe acts, conditions and hazards investigate root causes and identify corrective and preventative actions.Should you meet the minimum requirements for this position, please email your updated CV attached to , alternatively contact the team on XXX-XXXX or visit our website,Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
