Are you a seasoned Safety Officer ready to take your career to new heights? Look no further! Our Leading Consulting Engineering client is seeking a dynamic and driven individual from an Oil and Gas background to join their team as a Safety Officer.Location: MpumalangaResponsibilities
- Collaborate with the Resident Site Manager to develop the worksite HSSE plan and support the HOD Field Engineer in conducting Task Risk assessments.
- Aid field personnel in creating safe working method statements and risk assessments as needed.
- Review documents from construction contractors for compliance.
- Implement and manage a schedule of HSSE audits and inspections, including regular site and facility checks. Conduct HSSE inspections daily and monthly audits of construction contractors.
- Minimum of Five (5) years Construction/Occupational safety experience
- Must have been exposed to the level of a managing contractor
- Registered CHSO with SACPCMP
- NEBOSH - General International Certificate
- SAMTRAC/Mining SAMTRAC
- HIRA & ASHEPP
- First Aid Level 1
- Incident Investigations
