Desired Experience and Qualification:

Matric
Applicable Diploma and/or a relevant NQF SHE qualification.
Valid SACPCMP Registration.
Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in similar role.
Experience in managing various projects with multiple contractors and staff reporting into him/her).

Minimum requirements:

Valid Code EB driverxe2x80x99s license.
Own Valid Medicals (Advantage)
Clear criminal record
Willingness and ability to relocate/travel for unspecified periods and flexibility in terms of working hours.
Must be available immediately

Responsibilities

Administrative, technical and training service in respect of health, safety and environmental procedures and standards, including hazard identification, risk assessments and safe working practices.
Responsible for SHE monitoring, auditing and reporting on unsafe/ unhealthy situations and assisting in the implementation of improvements.
Preparation of SHE incident statistics for reporting purposes.
Responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the Health and Safety and Environmental plan and management system.
Conduct incident investigations to identify root cause and preventative measures.
Provide support and advice to line management regarding SHE matters.
