:DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic team in Edenvale, Gauteng. This full-time position is perfect for recent graduates with a Bachelors degree in Accounting or BCompt Accounting who are looking to gain practical experience while pursuing their professional qualification. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and develop their skills in financial reporting, taxation, and general accounting practices. You will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting team and ensuring compliance with SAIPA standards.Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support the tax compliance process and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Conduct reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate financial records and transaction logs.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Participate in audits and support the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to SAIPA requirements and standards in all work conducted.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or BCompt Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
• Possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Fluency in Afrikaans is preferred.
