:DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated SAIPA Trainee Accountant to join our team in Somerset West, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting or a BCompt Accounting qualification. This is a full-time position for aspiring accountants who are looking to kickstart their careers while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the accounting field. As a SAIPA Trainee Accountant, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, assisting in various accounting tasks and developing your skills in a supportive environment.Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with SAICA regulations.
• Support the execution of tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Participate in the auditing processes and financial reviews.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Help in the management of budgets and forecasts, providing insights for financial planning.
• Maintain accurate and detailed database of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve internal processes and financial practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial issues and queries.

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting or BCompt Accounting.
• Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid residency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and taxation laws in South Africa.
• Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Fluency in Afrikaans is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
