Position OverviewThe Total Loss Insurance Sales Agent will be responsible for selling total loss insurance products, providing exceptional customer service, and handling policy-related inquiries. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of short-term insurance policies, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Specific Role Responsibilities

• Sell total loss insurance policies to new and/or existing customers
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate product information
• Follow up on leads and convert them into successful sales
• Ensure optimal service delivery through multiple communication channels, including phone and email
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and address customer concerns professionally
• Assist clients with policy documentation and claims processes related to total loss insurance
• Perform data entry and validate customer documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Accurately log cases and interactions in the system
• Meet and exceed sales targets while adhering to compliance requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members to drive business success
• Ability to work flexible hours when required

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the full FAIS and RE05 qualifications
• Must meet fit and proper requirements
• Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance or a related field
• Previous experience in the short-term insurance industry is advantageous
