Our client in the Renewables Energy industry is currently looking for a Sales Agent, in Randburg, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:
Master the ins and outs of solar technology to recommend the perfect system and troubleshoot common issues.
Identify and target potential clients through various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, networking, and social media outreach. Generate and qualify leads, moving them through the sales funnel.
Conduct detailed consultations to educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions.
Craft clear, compelling proposals (written) and presentations (verbal) that translate solar power into easy-to-understand benefits for every customer, technical or not.
Be a trusted advisor by actively listening to your clients' energy needs and building strong rapport.
Become a master at sales strategies and negotiation tactics to close deals and make the clear choice for every client.
Embrace continuous learning to master new solar trends, products, and keep ahead of the wave.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the ZOHO CRM system.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
Provide exceptional customer service, fostering long-term relationships and encouraging referrals.
Fast Paced and Target Driven: Sales quotas and deadlines will be a constant factor, requiring strong organization and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Building relationships and understanding client needs are paramount. Expect frequent communication, proposals, and information transfer.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in a high-volume sales role, preferably in the solar or related industries.
Preferably B2C focused experience.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for engaging effectively over the phone.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using CRM software (ZOHO is preferred) and Google workspace Suite.
High school diploma required, bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
