Job Description
Our client, a leading supplier of commercial grafted and engrafted vegetable seedlings, is seeking a Sales and Field Support individual for their Riebeek West Nursery in the Western Cape.The position will report to the National Sales Manager of the Nursery.Responsibilities:
- Marketing of various seedlings & recruiting new business
- Maintenance and support of the existing client basis
- Sound communication with production team to ensure timeous delivery of seedlings to clients which are mostly farmers
- Follow-up & support to the clients with the relevant information to establishing & growing of seedlings
- Relevant Tertiary in Agriculture i.e National Diploma, Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture
- Relevant Marketing, sales & field support experience in the agricultural field will be advantageous
- Reliable, proactive & energetic
- Able to work independently & in teams
- Fluent in both English & Afrikaans
- Computer literate
- Valid Code 8 drivers license
