Job Summary Position Title: Sales Assistant (Remote) Location: Remote, Cape Town based (South Africa Hours) Our client in the UK, is an independent investment research firm specializing in the tech/media sectors (TMT) is currently looking for a Sales assistant to join their team remotely from Cape Town . They serve the top tech investors in the world and cover around 120 public stocks globally, competing with the top investment banks. With offices in London, Boston, Hong Kong and more recently Cape Town, they are growing their analyst team (initially in the semiconductor tech sector) to support covering analysts. They are a partnership, founded back in 2000 (24 years ago) which is a well-known brand in the financial markets. They pride ourselves on their deep technology understanding and strategic thinking - with over 20 analysts at the firm, they provide a great platform for learning. Key Responsibilities: Perform back-office sales tasks to support the sales team Assist with administrative duties to streamline sales processes Take ownership of tasks and projects to ensure completion and accuracy Utilize intuition to anticipate the needs of the sales team and act proactively Qualifications: A degree is beneficial but not mandatory No previous sales experience is required Must be a sharp, quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work during South Africa hours Personal Attributes: Intuitive and proactive Strong sense of ownership and responsibility Detail-oriented and highly organized Benefits: Work remotely with a dynamic team Opportunity to learn and grow within the sales department Flexible working hours aligned with South Africa time zone Based: Working from home but must be based in Cape Town currently.
