Job Description

Sales



Achieve set revenue targets and set profit margins on a monthly basis



Extensive client relationship management across all levels within theexternal environment-specific focus on senior strategic individuals



Creating and transforming lead generation platforms into qualified sales



Engaging external stakeholders with a business development intent



Identification of business opportunities in line with SAIL's core focus areaswith a revenue growth as the fundamental undertone



Generation of Weekly Client Visitation Report and Status reports



Sales Project Management of a specific product offering



Weekly Market summation report-through client visitations, providefeedback to Head of Department: Hospitality



Negotiating price elements with prospective clients



Identifying innovative sales platforms/techniques



Managing client expectations to ensure client retention



Implementation of client retention strategies



Expansion of existing client databases



Managing internal relationships to ensure delivery of client expectations



Ensure hospitality and Suite informaion recieved is current, and has full knowledge of hospitality offerings



General sales for hospitality events and Suite Sales



Follow up on leads, revert to cleints timeously and close the sale



Ensure payment from clients has been recieved timeously



Meet monthly targets and deadlines on Suites and Hospitality



Cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities



Customer Retention



Create own database of customers, keeping up-to-date records of all information



Manage existing clients, keeping close relations with them to monitor and manage their entertainment spend



Source new cleints, manage and foster relationship



Obtain feedback from customers to improve srevice and experience for customers



Build relationships with key customers, understand theirneeds to best accommodate their needs



Adhoc inventory reponsibilities



Host suites as required at various events



Qualifications



Relevant Diploma/ Degree.



Experience



Minimum 2 - 3years professional Sales experience in a corporateenvironment.



Excel skills, good time management in a pressurized environment andnumeric accuracy



PowerPoint skills, ability to create andpresentopportunities to Client Base



Must have a demontrsable track record in delivering against set targets



Must have a demstrable track record in selling sponsorship, broadcasta and advertising products



Must have a high current network



Must have exceptional inter personal skills



Must interface with senior executives across various industries



Must currently be functioning in environment driven by visible measurable results



Must have a sales/marketing background- fully understanding corpoarte buying behaviour



Must have sound entrepreneurial management experience



Must have exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills



Candidate needs to have knowledge of the sports industry and have a strong corporate SA customer data base



Must have own car and be willing to work after hours and week-ends on events-clients entertainment



Skills and knowledge



Excel skills, good time management in a pressuruzed environmement and numeric accuracy



Good comminication skills with staff and customers at all levels are prerequisities to be successful in this critrical position
