Our products are in 100 countries globally, and supporting this takes a huge effort.What will you be doing?The role forms part of the Advanced Wound Care Division and is responsible for the successful launch, promotion, and sales and clinical support of the specific product range to Surgeons, Hospitals/Clinics, Private Nurse Practitioners and Podiatrists. Due to the clinical support requirements a good medical understanding of wound care conditions and the different product portfolios will be an essential quality for this position.The continuing education in the correct application and usage of these products in the sales territory allocated to the incumbent is paramount. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for the allocated territory.What will you need to be successful?

• In theatre experience is vital and a requirement
• A strong medical understanding of wound care
• Ability to attain and exceed targeted sales.
• Develop and maintain a regular calling pattern and to report accordingly.
• Ensure all customers are fully cognisant of the product range.
• Assist Surgeons, Private Nurse Practitioners and Funders linked to the Mine Hospitals with clinical expertise where required considering disease pathways and product bundles for cost-effective management of budgets.
• Attend regular ward rounds to give technical and clinical advice.
• Monitor competitive activity.
• After hours call outs would be necessary

Successful candidates would need the following:

• Two Years Experience in the Sales of Medical Devices or Two years Experience in the medical filed and working under pressure in the theatre environment and working with AWM products will be an advantage.
• Degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences
• Valid Drivers License
• Own Vehicle
• The successful candidate must reside in Rustenburg
