Job Description


Handle enquiries from customers, both internal and external, and action to achieve total customer satisfaction. Do quotations as requested by customers and follow up on outstanding quotes. Able to ascertain the needs of the customer and give effective and efficient service. Ensure that the customer experience makes the business a preferred supplier to customers. Communicate accurately and timeously within strict time frames. Maintain good relationships within the business and the customer base. Plan and coordinate the sales efforts to achieve and exceed the sales targets. Provide feedback to management on customers and market information. Commit to mastering your knowledge of the applications, features and benefits of the products stocked. Investigate new products and keep up to date with new developments and products. Must participate in new product launches, promotions, shows, demonstrations and training as required by the company. Find and develop new sales leads. Assist with planning of advertising and tade promotion programs. Identify competitors strengths and weaknesses. Monitor and assist with online and printed marketing campaigns. Grade 12. A sales and marketing qualification will be advantageous. Computer literate. Drivers license and own car a must. Have a passion for DIY, Hardware, Power tools and woodwork. Must be in good health.
