Job Description

Responsibilities



Achieve set revenue targets and set profit margins on a monthly basis



Extensive client relationship management across all levels within the external environment-specific focus on senior strategic individuals



Creating and transforming lead generation platforms into qualified sales



Engaging external stakeholders with a business development intent



Identification of business opportunities in line with the company's core focus areas with a revenue growth as the fundamentalundertone



Generation of Weekly Client Visitation Report and Status reports



Sales Project Management of a specific product offering



Weekly Market summation report-through client visitations



Scientific sales forecasting for specific product offering



Negotiating price elements with prospective clients



Identifying innovative sales platforms/techniques



Managing client expectations to ensure client retention



Implementation of client retention strategies



Expansion of existing client databases



Managing internal relationships to ensure delivery of client expectations



Qualifications



Relevant Diploma/ Degree.



Experience



Minimum 2 - 3 years professional Sales experience in a corporateenvironment.



Must have a sales/marketing background-fully understandingcorporate buying behavior



Must have a proven sales track record



Applicants need solid hands on experience with supplier accountsand working within a pressurized streamlined environment.



Must have own car and be willing to work after hours and week- ends on events-client entertainment



Skills and Knowledge



Be willing to work under pressured environment



Ability to meet targets



Must have exceptional client relationship skills



Self-motivated-challenge oneself by setting high targets for workdeliverables regardless of the amount of supervision offered



Sound judgement-comfortable in ability and knowledge to makethe right decision

Excellent presentation and communication skill at senior level



Corporate contacts and relationships



Understanding of the dynamics of sport and entertainment withemphasis on South African football, rugby, cricket and music



Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)



Passionate and energetic implementer



Excel skills, good time management in a pressurized environmentand numeric accuracy



PowerPoint skills, ability to create and present opportunities toClient Base



Good communication skills with staff and customers at all levelsare prerequisites to be successful in this critical position.



Ability to work according to deadlines and under pressure



Must have a demonstrable track record in delivering against set targets



Must have a demonstrable track record in selling sponsorship, broadcast, and advertising products



Must have a high current network



Must have exceptional inter personal skills



Must interface with senior executives across various industries



Must currently be functioning in environment driven by visible,measurable results



Must have a sales/marketing background-fully understandingcorporate buying behavior



Must have sound entrepreneurial and management experience



Must have exceptionally strong organizational and timemanagement skills



Candidate needs to have knowledge of the Sports industry andhave a strong corporate SA customer data base
