Job Description


The SDR will generate new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This proactive role requires strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to contributing to the company's success. You will break into new accounts and foster relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures customer excellence:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer base.
  • Lives the company's values and service standards with regard to customer interaction.
  • Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the company's quality requirements.
  • Takes personal accountability for service excellence.
  • Adheres to the companies' work standards.
Information Security
  • Understand their role within the organisation from an information security perspective and commit to protecting the organisation's security information assets.
Finance
  • Ensures cost savings and efficiencies in areas of accountability.
  • Ensure recruitment is monitored and stays within allocated budgets.
Self- development
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organisations.
  • Prepare personal development plans with the Manager and implement them per business requirements.
Teamwork
  • Ensures teamwork to achieve shared goals.
  • Continuously liaises with manager and larger HR Team to deliver on company-wide initiatives.
  • Assists with shared HR portfolio deliverables.
  • Educate and develop leads through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation:xc2xb7 Drive PaySpace's growth through outbound prospecting efforts, generating sales leads into opportunities and closed business.Qualifying Leads:
  • Conduct high-level conversations with prospects to identify their needs and qualify their interest in PaySpace's products/services.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touchpoints, and the handoff to an Account Executive.
Appointment Setting:
  • Schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
CRM Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
Follow-Up:
  • Execute targeted follow-up campaigns to nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel.
Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimise lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Learn from our seasoned sales team and help build out our world-class Sales Playbook and Tech Stack.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
