Sales Strategy: Developing and executing sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives through Revenue growth management, Category/shopper initiatives and building brands in store objectives.
Financial Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
Market Expansion: Identifying new markets, customer segments, and distribution channels to expand the business.
Team Leadership: Managing and motivating sales teams to achieve targets along with coaching and development of team to maintain talent pipeline
Relationship Building: Cultivating strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers as well collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans
Forecasting and Planning: Analysing market trends, demand, and inventory to optimise sales planning forecast into IBP process and working cross functionally to mitigate risk.
Performance Metrics: Monitoring sales performance, revenue, and profitability
The Successful ApplicantAbout The candidate:
University graduate with a 3 year commercial qualification
10+ year's classic blue chip FMCG marketing experience.
Extensive sales management experience - both strategic, i.e. trade marketing, and operational i.e. key accounts & field sales.
Driving results in collaboration with other teams to drive the business forward is crucial to our success.
Category thought leadership and the ability to articulate the commercial proposition key to winning with customers and teams.
Obsessed on developing self and others to be the Best they can be and cementing a talent pipeline for the future.
Broad knowledge of the national and international trade environments.
