What you'll do:
Formulate and implement the overall sales strategies and plans with specific focus on the cluster's revenues and margins which enable the achievement of business mission and objectives.
Translate business strategies/plans into sales priorities and measure sales performance.
Monitor overall sales performance against strategic objectives by regular sales management review to ensure that objectives are fulfilled, and required corrective action is taken in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintain an extensive network of internal and external contacts to ensure that the division is optimally placed in its understanding of business, economic, political, and commercial challenges, and opportunities.
Build and manage a high performing team by providing leadership, role clarity, training and career development.
Coach, support, mentor, and challenge subordinates in the application of effective sales practices, provide advice and guidance on complex sales issues to minimise risk and ensure performance.
Recommend and manage the P&L and budget for the division and monitor financial performance so that the business is aware of anticipated costs and revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance and improvement opportunities and that the team focuses on delivering against P&L targets to meet the cluster's financial performance targets.
Play a consultative role in review and development of functional plans and budgets to ensure that plans are realistic and stretching but capitalise upon commercial/operational opportunities.
Construct detailed customer business plans for the division
Drive collaboration across industries and service lines, including collaboration, performance, cross and upsell opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure seamless customer experience
Lead demand-generating marketing and sales activities in the assigned market for the assigned solution.
Tracking customer trends in the industry and developing a thorough understanding of the future direction of the market
Track billing and survey customer satisfaction
Managed the maintenance of accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM system
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and product knowledge to provide valuable insights to clients
Managing, developing and extending the sale of products to new and existing local and international customers
Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
Apply standard operating procedures in preparing bids, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
Drive Transformation initiatives within the division
Oversee governance, quality control and Right First-Time delivery throughout the division in partnership with BU Management
Maintains the relevant ISO procedures and policies for the relevant department
Your expertise:
Function related experience: 10 years extensive experience in Strategic Sales and Business Development at a Senior management level
Leading teams: at least 7 years
Project experience: 5 years
+ Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
+ Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
+ Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs
