Job SummaryJob & Company Description:One of the leading global market players in the power industry is looking tech savvy Sales Engineer (primarily with experience in development of solar PV systems), to assist with the selling of technological products or energy solutions services, which includes the ability to provide turnkey solutions on a 12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining extensive knowledge of the product parts functions and processes, and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clientsxe2x80x99 needs.Key responsibilities include:

• Identify potential customers within the agricultural sector which includes but not limited to farms, greenhouses and agri businesses
• Technical inbound sales calls with prospective clients
• Submitting B.O.M and quotations to potential buyers
• Analyse customers electricity consumption and provide energy solutions
• Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients
• Work closely with project teams to ensure the smooth execution of secured solar agriculture projects

Education:

• Completed Matric
• BSc Degree in Electrical, Electronic Power, Energy and related majors

Experience:

• At least 3 years work experience as a Solar Sales Engineer, or Solar Energy System Engineer
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Knowledge of Solar PV technology and its application in agriculture

Skills:

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Professional, self-motivated and target driven
• Ability to travel within and/or outside of South Africa
