Job Description
Role Context
Market share is increased by obtaining new business. Company sales procedures are followed during sales calls Products and services are delivered to customer as per SLA Maintains stock levels of all items required for the completion of duties
Customer Service
Customer visits as per schedule Customer satisfaction is maintained All client requests are responded to within 24 hours Stock takes on customers' sites as and when required Plant / process audits and site visits as and when requested
Administration
Marketing material collected before visits All expenditures are reconciled by due date Customer information is captured after each visit Quotation and probability feedback after each visit Ensure quotations are completed as and when required Weekly call plans and site visit reports are submitted to Manager
Marketing
Market research is conducted in designated areas Presentations are delivered to customer as required Opportunities are supported with point-of-sale material Attendance and participation at exhibitions as discussed with Manager Quarterly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities in own area
Qualifications
Grade 12 Degree in Metallurgy Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar (preferable)
Job Specification
3 years' experience in mineral processing plants, chrome, coal, heavy minerals and Iron ore Computer Literate Valid Driver's License
Inherent Requirement
Must be medically fit
