Sales ExecutiveLocation Cape TownOur client- South Africas fastest growing logistics tech platform is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in the offices in Cape Towns buzzling city bowl. The ideal candidate is passioate about innovation and making peoples lives better and communicatively strong on email and on the phone.Here the role in a nutshell:

  • Customer Interaction: Be empathetic, understanding, and knowledgeable about the services. This would involve actively listening to customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and explaining how our client can make lives easier
  • Sales and Upselling: Building relationships will be key. Youd need to develop rapport with customers and find opportunities to upsell by highlighting the full range of services offered. Providing value and ensuring the customer feels theyre getting a great deal will make a difference in conversions.
  • Performance Tracking: Keep an eye on your metrics like calls, conversions, and revenue. Tracking your progress towards targets will ensure you're staying on track and help identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Your Manager: Stay open to feedback and new ideas for improving sales strategies. Regular discussions with your manager will help you tweak your approach and keep hitting your targets.
  • Customer Feedback & Market Insights: Gather feedback from customers and stay attuned to any trends or changes in the market. This info will help continuously improve its offerings and stay ahead of competitors.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Good tenure in role
  • 3+ years contact centre sales to UK customers
  • Currently employed
  • 2 contactable references
  • ITC and crim clear
  • SA citizen
Skills and Competencies:
  • Passion for Sales & Customer Facing Experience
  • Proven Track Record: (Met or exceeded targets and closed deals in previous roles. This could be through metrics like sales numbers, conversion rates, or customer satisfaction)

  • The business aligns to UK operating hours and as an international business work to UK time zones, all roles operate on a shift pattern basis around the following in South African Standard Times
  • Apr - Sep, Monday - Friday 00am - 9.00pm Saturday - Sunday 9.00pm- 7.00pm
Oct - Mar, Monday - Friday 10.00am - 10.00pm Saturday - Sunday 10.00am -8.00pm
