A successful local and export abattoir serves a diverse market throughout South Africa and abroad. They hold themselves to a very high standard of both products produced and service to their customers. They have a high emphasis on excelling and succeeding as a team. They are now recruiting a Sales Executive.Summary of the roleThe sales position is a client facing role responsible for planning and coordinating the selling of the company's products to customers. This includes maintaining customer relationships, growing the customer base of the company and ensuring high customer satisfaction through resolution of complaints and quality service. This position reports to the Sales Manager.Job Responsibilities and Duties
1. Selling Products
Successfully contact potential and current clients, set appointments, communicate
the product value, persuade, influence, negotiate and close the sale in a manner
which provides a positive customer experience.
2. Effective Communication
Effective communication with customers, seniors and peers: to both provide and
receive information in order to ensure sales activities.
3. Customer Service
Successfully manage customer relationships through a strong service orientation,
active listening, positive interactions, being socially perceptive and resolving any
complaints or customer disputes.
4. Problem Solving
Effectively display problem sensitivity by recognising problems which may arise
from situations. Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses
of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
5. Admin
Must be computer literate and competent in Excel.
6. Active Learning
Must show enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning, enhancing their
skills and knowledge in the industry and sales field.Job required Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Qualifications/experience: worked in Sales for at least 3 - 4 years
Knowledge: Industry knowledge (fresh meat) will be a bonus, or in FMCG.
Administrative skills
Verbal and Numerical Literacy skills
Strong communication & people skills
Creative thinking (must be able to think out of the box)
Must be a self-motivated individual, results-oriented mind-set dedicated to fulfilling
responsibilities effectively.
