As a small, agile company, we're looking for a primary sales leader to develop our new business pipeline, secure new clients, and drive the continued growth of our organization.

Mission for the Sales Executive



Primary Goal:

Generate $1 million in new annual business (equivalent to $83K in new Monthly Recurring Revenue) by identifying, engaging, and closing deals with accounting firms needing IT services.

Outcomes (Key Responsibilities & Metrics)



1. Demand Generation & Pipeline Building



Establish and execute a structured prospecting strategy (LinkedIn, email, phone, networking). Maintain a robust pipeline in HubSpot, consistently securing 10+ qualified intro calls or demos per week. Leverage AI tools to identify leads, streamline outreach, and accelerate research.

2. Sales Plan Creation & Execution



Develop a strategic roadmap designed to achieve the $1M annual new revenue target. Provide weekly updates and forecasts directly to the CEO, ensuring clarity on pipeline health and resource needs.

3. Consultative Selling & Closing



Engage in high-quality discovery calls, understand prospect challenges, and articulate how Tech Guru IT's solutions address those needs. Demonstrate phenomenal customer service skills to build trust and credibility, especially during the early stages of the client relationship. Focus on finding and closing new clients--cultivating rapport but quickly moving from interest to commitment.

4. Long-Term Relationship Mindset



Even though this role is dedicated to new business acquisition, approach prospects and early relationships with a long-term perspective. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff once new clients sign, setting them up for a lasting partnership with Tech Guru IT. 5. Collaboration & Handoff



Partner with our solid service delivery framework and client success team to transition new clients seamlessly. Rest assured that once deals are closed, extremely capable support and service teams will manage ongoing relationships, freeing you to focus on new opportunities.

Responsibilities



Prospecting & Outreach: Identify, research, and qualify new leads, leveraging both AI-driven and traditional methods. Discovery & Proposal: Conduct discovery calls, align needs with Tech Guru IT solutions, and present compelling proposals. Closing Deals: Move prospects to decision promptly, finalizing agreements with clarity and positivity. Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate sales records in HubSpot, providing regular forecasts and performance insights to the CEO. Collaboration: Handoff new customers to our robust service delivery and client success teams, ensuring they receive ongoing support and care. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining our sales playbook and strategies, sharing market feedback and insights.

Qualifications



Experience:



3+ years of proven success in B2B sales, ideally in IT services, technology consulting, or a related field. Strong track record of closing new business and meeting/exceeding revenue targets. Familiarity with accounting firms or other professional services is a plus.

Tools & Skills:



Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM). Comfortable with AI tools to optimize lead generation and client outreach. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Soft Skills: A true "hunter" mindset--loves finding and closing new clients. Adaptable to a smaller, fast-paced work environment, taking initiative to drive growth. Collaborative, yet independent, thriving under a remote setup with minimal supervision.
