What you will be doing:Sales Operations
  • Hit the Targets: Understand sales goals and strategies to achieve them.
  • Hands-On Experience: Learn merchandising and in-store execution.
  • Direct Selling and Negotiation: Develop skills in one-on-one selling and negotiation.
  • Strategy Execution: Grasp and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Supply Chain Engagement: Work closely with internal and external supply chains.
  • Data Mastery: Utilise customer data and systems effectively.
  • Market Analysis: Understand and analyse category market data to provide insights and recommendations.
Key Account Management
  • Customer Interaction: Attend customer meetings and build strong relationships.
  • Sales Reviews: Compile and present customer sales reviews.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate trading terms, promotions, pricing, and margins.
  • Innovation Launch: Assist in launching new products.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse sales data for better decision-making.
  • Administrative Support: Perform key account administration, compile contact reports, process claims, and update promotional grids.
  • Cost Management: Understand and manage the cost of doing business with customers.
What you will need to be considered:Qualifications:
  • At least a Bachelor of Commerce ideally a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in either of the following disciples: Management, Corporate Communications, Business Management, Sales Management, Marketing, Marketing Management or Bachelor of Commerce Honours
  • A minimum average of 60% in the final year of studies
Additional Requirements:
  • Relevant Experience: Any vacation experience or part-time work is valued.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective Communicator: Ability to relate to and communicate confidently across various organisational levels in English and Afrikaans.
  • Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to travel nationally between regions
  • Mobile: Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly and ask questions in a fast-paced factory environment, embrace different approaches and thrive in a dynamic environment.
