Sales NCA and Migration InternAs a Sales NCA and Migration Intern, you will work closely with our Sales colleagues in the Medium and Small Business segments, assisting with quoting, administrative tasks, and supporting sales processes. Your role will involve reviewing opportunities before quoting, ensuring accurate data entry in CRM systems, and supporting customer engagement efforts. Additionally, you will gain exposure to essential sales functions, including lead allocations, appointment setting, and research activities.What will the programme look like?As a Sales Intern, you will be the first line of contact with prospects, delivering an independent, professional, and informative experience. Your goal is to identify customer needs, match them with the most suitable Sage product, and generate high-quality qualified leads for the Sales team. By ensuring an effective lead qualification process, you will play a key role in helping the business grow and thrive.Beyond work experience, we also encourage all our colleagues to give back to their communities, offering five fully paid days per year for volunteering, fundraising, or other charitable activities through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.This is a hybrid role - Three days per week in our Johannesburg office.Key Responsibilities Summary of the Role

  • Assist with sales processes, including reviewing all opportunities before quoting.
  • Ensure correct tax country and branch specifications in all transactions.
  • Verify that the Sales GP on CRM is accurately calculated.
  • Create new opportunities in Salesforce and CRM.
  • Manage and respond to email queries.
  • Type quotations and follow up with customers to confirm receipt.
  • Call customers to confirm appointments and conduct cold calls to potential leads.
  • Research potential customers' businesses, products, and services.
  • Load opportunities on various systems, including Smart Sheets, ensuring accurate data entry and validation by the Allocated ASM.
  • Allocate and distribute qualified leads across the sales team.
  • Maintain and update lead records in Salesforce and CRM.
  • Assist with minutes during meetings and sales demos when required.
  • Participate in sales demos for learning and exposure.
  • Support in completing Due Diligence forms with assistance from the Allocated ASM.
  • Redirect business-related queries to the correct department.
  • Load escalation webforms on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct customer research to assist ASMs in lead qualification.

  • Adaptability to handle administrative tasks while assisting in strategic sales activities.
