Karri is a fast growing school payments business on a mission to make school payments quick and simple for both our schools and their parents. Hundreds of schools are using Karri across South Africa. Parents and students make use of the Karri Card, a Mastercard for students managed by parents on the Karri app.By joining Karri you will have the opportunity to be a part of our rapidly growing and proudly South African Fintech team. Join us and play a pivotal role in bringing accelerated adoption of Karri to schools in South Africa. We will look to you to grow our footprint within our target market throughout South Africa.You must have sales experience at management level, preferably in the education industry.The role includes:

  • Growing topline revenue
  • Identifying, developing and harnessing new clients aligned to company goals
  • Contributing to short-term and long-term planning to support strategic business goals
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of key metrics against targets
  • Monitoring of competitors
  • Participating in the planning and execution of marketing and advertising activities
  • Working within our CRM system to manage and track the sales pipeline
  • National travel and face to face meetings with schools are a key part of this role
  • Providing training at regular intervals
  • Presenting at conferences, school board meetings and the like
What youxe2x80x99ll need to qualify:
  • A seasoned B2B and B2C Sales Manager with key account sales experience
  • Experience in managing staff members
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Ability to draw insights and translate into actionable tactics
Realities of the Role:Lots of travel and meetings with schools. Motivating team members and getting schools to take on a new system can be a challenging but hugely rewarding process. Buy-in has to come from multiple stakeholders. Working at Karri is exciting and we are treading new territory in the Education technology industry.
