Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 hands on commercial experience in a sales environment is essential
Must have a good financial management understanding as well as report writing skills
Computer literate and must have advanced MS Office training
Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing regional and local sales staff.
Planning and directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
Directing and coordinating activities involving sales of products and services.
Managing all administrative requirements relating to sales.
Assisting with resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Monitoring customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
Reviewing operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
Managing product introduction, new product development, customer satisfaction and centricity, and negotiating supply agreements.
Managing existing contracts and supply agreements.
Preparing annual sales budgets, monthly forecasts, and monthly sales reports.
Managing and growing export opportunities with the sales team.
Managing sales targets and the impact of exchange rates on profitability.
Managing the development of new products and the supply chain into new markets.
Determining price schedules and discount rates.
Preparing budgets and approving budget expenditures.
Managing working capital.
Effectively setting targets and managing/training staff.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
