A dynamic individual with exceptional negotiation, organizational, and communication skills required.Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Sales Plan: Craft and execute a strategic sales plan to meet annual targets across international regions.
  • Budget Management: Create annual sales budgets and monitor sales performance against targets, providing monthly reports to management.
  • Strategic Planning: Present insights and strategic plans to improve client satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Margin Targets: Achieve set margin targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor behaviour, and provide feedback to optimize strategies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and planning teams to optimize contract positions, availability, and pricing.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and advise the Sales Team, setting and tracking quarterly KPIs.
  • Expand Market Presence: Grow sales in Western and Eastern Cape, expanding into Southern Africa by identifying and engaging potential customers.
  • Customer Relations: Manage and support the Sales Team in maintaining high customer satisfaction and accurate information in Sage.
  • Compliance: Uphold ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years as a Key Account Manager or Sales Manager in the food industry.
  • Skills: Goal-oriented, assertive, and adept at problem-solving. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delegation and negotiation abilities.
  • Resilience: Ability to remain composed under pressure, with outstanding people skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel across different regions as required.
