Job Summary

We are now seeking a dynamic and customer focused Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving specific operational or customer management activities / projects under the guidance of the Sales Director. Also to support the Sales Director in relationship management, value selling, forecast & credit management & collection.

The role will be based in Johannesburg and report to the Sales Director.

What you will do

• Lead specific operational or customer management activities / projects with the customer:(mostly with key accounts or strategic accounts)
• Support Sales Director in forecasting: liase with CSR and customer on demand projections, validate the customer forecast, compile necessary information regarding new launches
• Support Sales Director in Value Selling: collect from customer and external sources data required for building value argumentation: support the value selling case build-up, preparation of sales contract: follow-up implementation with relevant stakeholders
• Support Sales Director in Relationship Management: analyse relevant internal and external data required for KA planning: set-up KA Team meetings, follow-up on RCS and EDCS process: results and action planning
• Support Sales director in Credit Management: Collection: follow-up receivable reports, flag issues and follow-up on actions

We believe you have

• A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or customer facing role
• Experience from value selling
• Good knowledge in Sales Force or Smart Sales
• Solid knowledge from the beverage package and/or processing industry
• Fully fluent in English, both written and spoken

The successful candidate has the ability to listen and address the customer's need in order to define and understand the business opportunity. You are also able to see the possibilities and form a value proposition. Your communication skills are excellent, and you can build trust and good relationships. You are a collaborative person who share your ideas and feedback.
