Its the Golden Rule - the simple idea that if you treat people well, the way you would like to be treated, they will do the same. - Isadore Sharp, Founder and Chairman Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsJob SummaryOur Sales team is dedicated to accommodating guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary.Main ResponsibilitiesAdhere to the Four Seasons Minimum Operating Standards including the very standards of the divisionDevelop individual accounts using information provided by sources such as but not limited to, World Wide Sales Offices, Front Office, regular guests, media, industry contacts and market intelligence, under the supervision of the Director of Sales and Director of MarketingResearch new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate companies/organizations likely to produce business for the hotel.Compile and maintain up to date Golden Sales & Catering recordsUnderstand the Marketing Plan and objectives so as to maximize revenues while carrying out the sales and marketing activities for the propertyRepresent the property in all areas, internally and externally, to the highest standard, in line with established guidelines and procedures.Work closely with Sales & Marketing team (Director of Marketing, Director of Sales, Director of Revenue and Director of PR & Communications) on a daily basis as it pertains to sales and marketing activities for your responsible markets.Work closely with WSO offices on group business.Keep date records of account base performance and regularly review and forecastResearch and compile accurate and appropriate mailing lists.Prepare and report on statistics useful to our sales efforts including nationality, guest origin, booking sources, etc.Plan, organize and participate in familiarization tours as required. Invite potential users to tour the property and conduct individual tours highlighting the facilities and servicesEntertain potential and existing clients in our food and beverage outlets, including weekends as and when required or appropriateDevelop overseas accounts if required to do so by planning and conducting international sales tripsUndertake all reasonable requests when asked to do so and potential duty Management shifts if rosteredUndertake other duties and responsibilities outside of the daily/weekly routine, but within the overall scope of the positionPerform other duties and projects as directed by the General Manager or Senior Management, relating to the two properties.Learn more about
