Sales & Marketing ManagerOur client is looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Manager to build the foundational sales and marketing infrastructure, allowing them to focus on higher-level business strategy. This will be the companys first dedicated sales and marketing hire.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute a structured sales process to increase conversions and improve follow-ups.
  • Implement a CRM system (if not already in place) and automate sales workflows to streamline lead tracking and pipeline management.
  • Handle inbound leads, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries from potential clients.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to generate new business through targeted email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Create sales scripts and playbooks to improve consistency in client interactions.
  • Analyze sales metrics and refine strategies to improve close rates.
Marketing & Digital Growth
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage past clients.
  • Enhance the companys SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility and attract more inbound traffic.
  • Oversee website content optimization, ensuring high conversion rates and clear messaging.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Test and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.), if applicable.
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Strategic Growth & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with event organizers, HR professionals, and corporate clients.
  • Research competitors and market trends to refine positioning and messaging.
  • Suggest and implement new revenue streams or product offerings based on market demand.
  • Support pricing strategy development to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 2-7 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or hybrid sales-marketing role.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in event planning, corporate services, or SaaS-related industries.
  • Strong lead generation and outreach skills (email campaigns, LinkedIn, cold outreach).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar) and marketing automation tools.
  • Deep understanding of SEO strategies and digital marketing techniques.
  • Ability to develop compelling email marketing sequences that drive conversions.
  • Experience with content creation, social media management, and paid advertising is a plus.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven, with the ability to set KPIs and track performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with high-level corporate clients.
