Job Description


Our client in the ICT industry is currently looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator, in Durban, Kwa xe2x80x93 Zulu Natal.Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and managing correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute sales-related reports and documents as required.
  • Oversee the order lifecycle from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of customer orders.
  • Coordinate with logistics and production teams to address any issues related to order fulfilment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide excellent service throughout the sales process.
  • Track sales performance metrics, generate reports, and analyse data to provide insights into sales trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies, promotions, and operational processes.
  • Facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of sales initiatives.
  • Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM systems or other databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, and generate reports as needed.
  • Prepare and process sales contracts, quotations, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding sales documentation
  • Provide support to the sales team in achieving their goals by assisting with lead management, customer follow-ups, and other sales-related activities.
  • Organize and coordinate sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Assist the sales manager in the implementation of the organization's sales initiatives and strategies.
  • Analysing sales data to optimize sales efforts and better identify potential opportunities to expand product depth and breadth.
  • Monitor the teamxe2x80x99s progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three (3) yearsxe2x80x99 experience in sales.
  • Proven track record of sales success within an ICT distribution business.
  • Knowledge of the IT market, reseller channels, marketing and promotional strategies is essential.
  • Understanding of IT industry and OEM channel.
  • Matric with mathematics is essential and a Sales and/or Marketing qualification is required, college diploma or university degree is preferred.
  • Maintain high level of customer service.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and manage time.
  • Mature outgoing personality, energetic go getter with a will to succeed.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent customer engagement and relationship building skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Service quality orientated.
  • Customer focused.

Remuneration:
  • R30 000 xe2x80x93 R32 000 per month.
