Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our wholesaler team. This role involves building and nurturing client relationships, promoting our range of security products such as firearms and ammunition. Must drive sales growth within the region. The ideal candidate should have a passion for firearms and the security aspect behind it to provide services to security companies, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales. Must be fluent in Afrikaans!NB!! DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS, THE MAJORITY OF OUR CLIENTS ARE AFRIKAANS. IF YOU ARE NOT FLUENT IN AFRIKAANS (READ, WRITE, SPEAK) YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the security industry.
  • Strong passion for people and sales and a solid understanding of firearms terminology and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with firearms regulations and legal requirements related to storage, handling, and transportation.
  • Must be computer literate - Word, Excel, internal ERP system.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Relationship Management:
  • Identify and target potential customers, including businesses within the security and firearms-related industry.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Present, promote, and sell our firearms and related products effectively, showcasing their features, benefits, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Product Knowledge:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our product line, including technical specifications, usage, and applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitive products to offer informed recommendations to customers.
Sales Strategies and Goals:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and expand our market share in the region.
  • Collaborate with the team and management to set achievable sales goals and contribute to the company's overall growth.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct regular market research to identify potential leads, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyse sales data to track performance, identify trends, and propose adjustments to sales strategies as needed.
Product Demonstrations and Training:
  • Organise and conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for clients to showcase the features and benefits of our firearms and related products.
Customer service:
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure excellent after-sales support and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay informed about local and national firearms regulations and ensure all sales activities adhere to legal requirements and ethical standards.
