Brief Description:
A sales representative is a professional responsible for selling products or services to customers on behalf of a company. Their primary role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and persuading them to purchase the company's offerings.Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role in the battery and energy storage industry.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of battery and energy storage products and markets.
- Ability to travel within the Cape Town region and occasionally nationally.
- Valid driver's license.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Call on and maintain existing end-user customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Call on, maintain, and manage key accounts, attending monthly KPI meetings and taking necessary actions.
- Identify and convert prospective clients into existing clients, expanding the customer base.
- Update sales forecasts, plan week ahead, and provide progress reports on a weekly basis.
- Present sales reports to the sales manager weekly, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Manage batteries through the workshop by liaising with the service manager and sales manager.
- Provide daily quotes to prospective and existing clients, ensuring thorough follow-up.
- Assess client requirements objectively to provide accurate quotes.
- Assist in preparing for major projects to meet deadlines.
